Long before Myah moved to Devils Lake, ND, she grew up in a small town named Urbana, Ohio. Her mother, who had had horses all her life, gave Myah her first horse, a Tennessee walker, at the age of 3. She ended up showing and riding Tennessee walkers until the age of 20 when she found new interest in training and riding paints and quarter horses. She had many quarter horses come through for training while she lived in Ohio but never had an interest in owning any until recent years.
Myah was an active member in 4-h for several years and really enjoyed showing at the county and state fair. She also participated in local and regional shows, including the Tennessee Walking Horse World Versatility show in Murfreesboro, TN in 2005. The experience was a once in a lifetime for Myah.
Myah still enjoys showing but would rather spend time training young horses to show as well as developing them to become a well rounded versatile horse.
